Every couple weeks Suntrust hits me with overdraft fees when both balances (available and current) show sufficient funds. When I call Suntrust, they give me some gibbereish about "holds" on the account, but they never can tell me who places these holds.

Also, when I go online to be sure I have sufficient funds, there is a "hidden" balance that I have to find and pull up. this is what they use to charge overdrafts, but even this balance is sufficient when they charge me.

This is an obvious case of fraud on suntrust's part. I have been banking with them for over 25 years, and this activity just started in the last couple years.

They were doing the exact same thing to me. Is there anyway to address this?

I am at a loss of what can be done. I contacted an attorney and was told they were not interested in taking my case.
