The people who answer the phones have no idea, nor do their managers because they did not change the format description---their computer programmers did the deed for some reason. You need to keep kicking this up the chain of command until you find someone who can and will query the programmers as to why they did the change and who authorized the change(s).

This change didn't happen for no good reason, someone told them to make the changes----for some reason. They need to know not only that you are rather unhappy with the change but this adversely affects your record-keeping.

Good luck. You might find a different bank better at this.

I have the same issue. I was able to reach their Site from the Philippines ( sometimes :) ), but here in HCMC it does not work.

I told them that I'll use online banking here and my ATM. No issues with my ATM.

Suntrust Bank is a terrible bank. They charge overdraft fees when you have a positive balance on your account. Do not use their online banking system because it is useless and inaccurate. They will say that their system is reliable but cannot explain why i was charged $300.00 in overdraft fees when my account was at a positive balance and even says it was at a positive balance. They are theives and should be put in prison for larcency, theft and falsifying evidence. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR MONEY IN THIS BANK, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!

I had a similar issue where transactions would disappear from my apps transactions list. Credits would disappear then they charged an overdraft fee of $36.00. Horrible customer service.

SunTrust in Mountain View, California - Worst Bank You Can Possibly Imagine

I won't bore you with the details, but avoid at all costs. Their internet banking system works (sort of) like it was cobbled together in the early 90's. Their customer service phone tree will drive you to drink. The latest: They arbitrarily decided that I can only transfer $2,000/week out of my Suntrust account to another financial institution using online banking. And, it's $3 per transfer. These guys are going to have their head handed to them by other financial institutions.... I inherited this from CCB in simpler times... but Suntrust just can't cut it in the modern world. They don't have a clue. Really. And I'm movin' on!
