My account was charged 3 times and when I was trying to call, they were wasting my time with their automatic voice system asking for *** When I was finally able to reach a customer, they were hanging on me after hearing I was charged 3 times. Fraud Banking!!!!!

Nothing, no phone call or communication with SunTrust, they lack severely in customer service especially from the top. SunTrust (Truist) is the worst Bank ever, they are supporting criminality and will not discuss anything fraudulent with customers, They will not discuss or talk to customers about fraud inside their Bank.
People please listen, if nothing else, close your account and go, this Bank has unethical behavior and are not trustworthy, they take from you, not give. SunTrust knows already this is fraud but refuses to return my money which was a loan that I am now paying back without the loan money. They blamed Chase first, and I have talked to Chase Bank, and have emails from Chase more than I do SunTrust, they were very concerned and did their own investigation, in two weeks, they were not the Bank of First, SunTrust was, already have that information.
SunTrust lies, cheats and steals from customers, they are more about money and greed than customer service, run people run, this can happen to you. SunTrust is the most pathetic business ever, they really need to be investigated by the Feds, never knew the history of unhappy people and people who are fighting this business to get their money, this was an eye opener, if you are a victim of fraud they will fight to keep your money.
The check 655 was originally made for 115.00 dollars to First Premier Bank for a credit card bill for my son. This was mailed from Columbia Md on September 17, 2021, sometime after that, the check was stolen, whitewashed, and deposited by mobile device on October 7, 2021, at 7:23pm for $4503.00, resulting in the money being taken out of my account on October 8, 2021. The bank never notified me or called me once, I have had to initiate, every phone call. It was not until I filed a complaint with CFPB that I received a phone call which was lots of I am sorry, but no solution.The deposit was made on October 5, 2021, and by October 8, 2021in the morning after the check was deposited on October 7, 2021, at 7:23pm all but 9.00 dollars was gone.
How did they know? Maybe an inside tip, and I am going to pay for SunTrust negligence? Then SunTrust decided to blame Chase Bank, who is done with their investigation, come to find out it was SunTrust who was the Bank of First not Chase.
Whoever decided this was my handwriting and allowed this deposit to go through so quickly without question, should lose their job. In my opinion this was intentional, and the timeline tells me so, funds were released too quickly, less than 12 hours.

Wrongful MONTHLY MAINTENANCE FEE
I have been banking with Suntrust for over 8 years. Since they have been taken over by Truist earlier this year, their costumer service has gone to the dogs.
I had a deduction from my checking account for a faulty monthly maintenance fee. Mind you, I had already qualified for no maintenance fee account already. I called costumer service, and told them that the bank had erroneously taken out the monthly maintenance fee because they were not aware that I had met their criteria for no maintenance fee. Upon further inspection, the bank refunded me my 2 months of monthly maintenance fee, and encouraged me to complete another qualifier for the no maintenance fee, which I obliged.
Fast-forward another month, and I see another maintenance fee. I called the bank costumer service, and I am told yes that maintenance fee was wrongfully taken, since now I have completed 2 of the requirements for having a no maintenance fee account. (In reality, you only need one requirement.) However, they cannot refund me the fee because they already provided that courtesy earlier last month! They took my money, knowing full well they were in the wrong and then refused to amend their mistake, and refund my money.
I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 1 hour. After an hour I was exasperated, and told them so, and then they finally offered me a call back. Would it not have made sense to provide that call back services at, I don't know, the 20-minute mark, or 30 or maybe 40?! Regardless, this is the second time I have had to fight to get my maintenance fee back from Suntrust, now Truist.
It is annoying, and a waste of my time, but at least the first time I got my money back. This time I have no idea.

Fraud
Well, I am a disgruntled customer of SunTrust, and as soon as my direct deposits are deposited in my checking account, I am getting the *** out of there.
They have numerous phone numbers - forty-seven to be exact so far, and still counting. UNBELIEVABLE!
They merged with Truist Banking, and B&B Banking.
To top all of this they are uninsured.
Can you believe it. IT'S TRUE.
The reason I dug up this dirt is because I am a licensed private investigator, and didn't TRUST them "no pun intended" from the get go.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMER BANKS.

Continuous calls
Suntrust now Truist is a terrible bank to work with. I've always paid my bills on time.
My mortgage is due on the 1st with a grace period until the 15th. I always pay on the 2nd Friday of every month. They call my work every month on the 10th. I've requested several times that they please remove that number.
They tell me they have every month. Still the calls come through. I've let them know I'm in the grace period. They call requesting my last 4 S.S.
number or they won't tell me what it is about. I do not provide that. After the calls I've called back and on hold for at least 30 minutes.
When talking to someone they take a look at my accounts and tell me everything is fine. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE and they forget who the customer is.

I’ve got no where with the bank
SunTrust conducted a 10 day investigation and denied my claim. They have now started a second investigation which they say will last for 45 days. Im a police officer of 20 years and have banked with Suntrust for 20 years. I have never purchased any online gift cards.
They have refused to help me, refused to let me speak to their investigators, and on several occasions refused to let me speak with a supervisor. Not one time has anyone from that company contact me for any information. Do not bank with SunTrust, if this happens to you they will not help you. There fraud department is a complete joke and their customer service is worse.
Just today I had Seth Mills ( so called client resolution specialist) hang up on me because I would not tell him if I was recording our conversation or not. But at the beginning of our call he advised me they were recording the call.
So they are allowed to record it but not me? Stay away from this bank, Im trying to warn people before they end up in the same spot Im in.

I was on hold for over a hour just for someone to ask me my name and hang up on me this has happen more then once I ask to speak to a supervisor and was denied the right to speak with one and hung up on this Is very unacceptable Ive been banking with your bank for years I had no idea this how you treat your customers I will be find me another bank who cares about the customer

Lack of support
I have had Suntrust to handle my momthly direct deposit government checks. I have been tying for months to get any kind of access to anything online, nothing, this is the most I have gotten.
Since there is barely any branches near me, I rely on my online banking, I am tired of wasting time, the second I grind some way to gain access to my account, I am closing it , it should not be this difficult to get anything. I'm done.

Ok. I applied to Suntrust online as my husband is a customer of b b t and they are merging.
I needed a rental management account for a direct deposit from Berkshire Hathaway. The account was accepted and they gave me two options to fund it. I chose the most intrusive way with my username and password. It went through.
Twice. Stay AWAY.
They didn't open the acct. I ordered rush checks

U S Government Deposited Social Security Check on 08/25/2021. Hours after Social Security Check was deposited Sun Trust Turned of Bank Account not allowing me to get to my Social Security check To pay bills or By food or Toilet items. One month Later still unable to get to My Social Security check.

I can never login to my account.
Everytime i try to login into online banking it tells me that access is restricted. I call customer service wait 25 minutes then i am told this problem is above their capabilities.
They sent my call to another department, now i wait another 30 minutes with no resolution. This is the worst bank ever for Customer Service.

who calls a customer asking for personal information when the world now especially close to Christmas...everybody is scamming. the lady hangs up calls back in 8 min again asking for personal info....Nowwww....the language has gone left because i just told you 8 mins ago i am not giving you/verifying with you MY personal info....AND THiS TRUIST crap...So is TRUIST a completely different bank or is Suntrust trying to get out of some lawsuits
