Poor customer service

Opened an account online and with no call no email other than to say everything was good and progressing forward shut my account down. I am glad I had not yet started my direct deposit going there otherwise I would have been in a really bad place especially in these trying times. Do not go to Suntrust, Truist or BB&;;;;T banks unless you want extremely sub par service and no communication. I entered into this hoping to start over and get myself back on track finally but guess not. Glad the corporate guys think customers don't matter.

Bad customer service

After requesting a simple bank statement, I wasted over 2 hours on the phone with suntrust representatives.They must be from the same island, because they all sound the same, a thick accent that is impossible to understand.Still no bank statement lol, what a joke! Never,EVER use Suntrust bank.

A Little Crazy

Ok. I applied to Suntrust online as my husband is a customer of b b t and they are merging. I needed a rental management account for a direct deposit from Berkshire Hathaway. The account was accepted and they gave me two options to fund it. I chose the most intrusive way with my username and password. It went through. Twice. Stay AWAY. They didn't open the acct. I ordered rush checks

User's recommendation: Stay Away. I can't even see to finish my complaint...NO DIGRESS.

SunTrust Bank Holding Social Security Check

U S Government Deposited Social Security Check on 08/25/2021. Hours after Social Security Check was deposited Sun Trust Turned of Bank Account not allowing me to get to my Social Security check To pay bills or By food or Toilet items. One month Later still unable to get to My Social Security check.

Need mobile app assistance

Nothing, it had no option for an app, You made me change from my SunTrust app to a truist app against my will, the SunTrust app was very good and the truist app is horrible, doesn't work most of the time, purple and lime green is ridiculous, hate the truist app.

I have been charged twice for a bill

I have been charged for a account I paid each month for 18.00 on 8/25/21 I just noticed on my checking acct they took out 17.89 for same acct but two different acct numbers I called Sirius which is the account they said yes they received the18.00 an my acct is fine they told me to call my bank

Worst bank ever

I've been trying to help a homeless man whose 72 get off the street come to find out he banks at suntrust, after many visits to the bank,different branches,only 1 person really tried to help,this homeless senior lost his wallet and had no id,ID, but he did have a letter from social security verifying who he was ,but still no help from the bank,that letter apparently wasn't sufficient, finally was able to get him a new debit card overnighted, but nope,someone in processing rejected it and mr.wright had to go back and reorder the card,meanwhile this man has been living under a treeecar department re

Over 5 months of no statements on a mortgage, called several times and e-mailed also

No one seems to listen to a complainant. Have been paying for several years and all of a sudden no statements. Sent to ex wife and no more to my address. Several calls and e-mails have done no good. My credit report is in jeopardy and they do not care.

Atm banking

I have NOT been able to use my Debit card to make deposits at the 1st Street location for several months. I can make deposits at other locations. If this problem isn't resolved, we may need to close out account. Thanks, Beverly Smith

Poor service

My mortgage was just sold to Suntrust. Been attempting to obtain my new account number so I can make a payment. Ive been disconnected 2 times this morning. Im currently on hold with a current wait time of over 25 minutes. Thats if Im not discounted again. Just want to pay them!
