I want to open an account with SunTrust Bank, after inputting my BVN number, an OTP was said to have been sent to my BVN sim card which is active but after waiting for minutes i didn't receive any OTP from them. I feel their portal needs to be arranged properly and a feedback sent to me via email so i can proceed with opening the account.

Verified ReviewerHad money stolen out of my checking fraudulently and SunTrust refuses to return my money which was loan money.
Nothing, no phone call or communication with SunTrust, they lack severely in customer service especially from the top. SunTrust (Truist) is the worst Bank ever, they are supporting criminality and will not discuss anything fraudulent with customers, They will not discuss or talk to customers about fraud inside their Bank.
People please listen, if nothing else, close your account and go, this Bank has unethical behavior and are not trustworthy, they take from you, not give. SunTrust knows already this is fraud but refuses to return my money which was a loan that I am now paying back without the loan money. They blamed Chase first, and I have talked to Chase Bank, and have emails from Chase more than I do SunTrust, they were very concerned and did their own investigation, in two weeks, they were not the Bank of First, SunTrust was, already have that information.
SunTrust lies, cheats and steals from customers, they are more about money and greed than customer service, run people run, this can happen to you. SunTrust is the most pathetic business ever, they really need to be investigated by the Feds, never knew the history of unhappy people and people who are fighting this business to get their money, this was an eye opener, if you are a victim of fraud they will fight to keep your money.
The check 655 was originally made for 115.00 dollars to First Premier Bank for a credit card bill for my son. This was mailed from Columbia Md on September 17, 2021, sometime after that, the check was stolen, whitewashed, and deposited by mobile device on October 7, 2021, at 7:23pm for $4503.00, resulting in the money being taken out of my account on October 8, 2021. The bank never notified me or called me once, I have had to initiate, every phone call. It was not until I filed a complaint with CFPB that I received a phone call which was lots of I am sorry, but no solution.The deposit was made on October 5, 2021, and by October 8, 2021in the morning after the check was deposited on October 7, 2021, at 7:23pm all but 9.00 dollars was gone.
How did they know? Maybe an inside tip, and I am going to pay for SunTrust negligence? Then SunTrust decided to blame Chase Bank, who is done with their investigation, come to find out it was SunTrust who was the Bank of First not Chase.
Whoever decided this was my handwriting and allowed this deposit to go through so quickly without question, should lose their job. In my opinion this was intentional, and the timeline tells me so, funds were released too quickly, less than 12 hours.

User's recommendation: Run from this Bank, SunTrust (Truist) they are unethical, customer service is horrible, and they will keep your money, even if it is fraud, and they know your handwriting. Their definition of investigation is a joke, they will never take responsibility for their negligence.
Poor Customer Service
I called last week before all the changes, about an charge. I was on hold for over an hour, just to speak to a CSR.
Furthermore, I also took screenshots of hold time. When I spoke with a CSR about the charge, she stated she was transferring me to someone else. I waited on hold for over 3 min. before I hung.
I never heard any background music as if I was on mute.
I called today and waited again for over an hour. Today I understood the wait time due to changing over to Truist. I spoke with CSR, and she was very polite but not knowledgeable. I was told my banks was open after, telling her I went twice today.
She also said I could send cash through a third party bank's ATM as long I was using my Truist debit card. I attempted to try, like a nut. I went to the drive thru window and told them what CSR suggested I do. She stated, that can never happen and offered me to join their bank.
I been attempting to put money in my account since Saturday. I'm not happy with Truist at all and will be shopping around.

Personal check stolen from my mailbox on 9-2-21 and cashed. We have copies and police report and Suntrust has yet to refund my money.
Amount was changed by thief from $615.33 to $1900.33 and bank refused to refund my money.
I have been a customer for approximately 20 yearsit has been over five months and still no refund! Branch Manager Jenson Swarford has refused to assist

I cant seem to get any where by calling them. Suntrust tried to get $4,330.88 I told them to keep my car payment and refund me the difference.Suntrust gave me the difference $3,897.00 but they are agreeing with me saying I owe a payment but I dont.

Because I am trying to talk to someone to get access to my account and I can't seem to get access to my account because I don't know where my pin is
I'm very highly upset and disappointed that I can't get no one on this phone or no one to help me get my PIN number so I can get access to my account I'm very upset and disappointed because I was assured when I got the account but I will have help

HELOC.
Try to switch my HELOC to a fixed rate loan, only to be ignored for three days,until finally I had to go to a different branch. I requested some documents I provided to the loan officer to be returned since I already went to a different branch,but up to this day I haven't hear anything.

Cant get anyone on all different phone call to how to add wife to loan. Please have someone call or a number to right Dept that we could find what steps you require to accomplish getting my wife on account.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT
I called the three Truist banks in Woodstock GA:.
1st. No one ever answered.
2nd.
Went immediately into busy (like the number was disconnected
3rd.
Finally got a recording to leave a message.
I then called the corporate customer service line -- recording said I would have to wait 60 min to talk to someone.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! LIKE YOU ARE THE ONLY BANK IN TOWN!

Suntrust to to much money from my account to pay my car payment. I told them to keep my car payment and refund me the rest.
The amount they took was $4,330.88 and refunded me $3,897.00 so now I have to go back to my bank to get them to get it fixed. I have tried and cant get it fixed.
Preferred solution: I need Suntrust to get my account fixed because I do not owe them any money until February 12, 2022

never received the title to a vessel
My loan was paid off in mid January 2020. I have nothing showing that the loan was paid off, therefore I have no title for my vessel and trailer.
Im in the process of selling the vessel and trailer so I need my title. What I have is an account number, but your telephone system doesn't recognize it so I can't get through to anyone at SunTrust..
