I am satisfied with Sintrust bank overall. Today when my husband put some funds into my account, they gave him the balance as well and he is not on my account. No one should be able to access any information on my account but me.

Suntrust deletes or looses online accounts regularly with no warning

Wow. I use quicken daily to download my Suntrust business account transactions. Today it did not work. I called them and they told me I have no online account, they did not know if I ever had one, they could not tell if they deleted it but told me they sometimes do that, they said they always send 4 warning emails but could not tell me if they did, to where, or anything. After an hour fighting with them they decided to try setting up a new online access and told me it would be at least 24 hours before I could start setting up the new account. Worst business banking experience ever. Thanks for holding me and my money hostage, not knowing if or why you deleted my account, and having moronic policies about deleting things. Do not bans keep records of what they do anymore? Time for a new bank.

Every few weeks I have to make a purchase out of state. Evidently this causes suntrust "fraud experts" to freeze my account. Makes it REALLY INCONVENIENT when my gas tank is almost EMPTY and I drive to the gas stop and get TRANSACTION DENIED when I swipe my card!! Then I have to call my daughter in law to bring me cash. Just a moment.... I was under the impression these cards were to be "more convenient" than cash? So I now have to waste time to go to the bank when I should be asleep (I work 9pm - 7 am), waste time standing in line and tell some bozo my problem. Instead of being surprised like this each and every time it would make better sense to ALERT me my account has been frozen (AGAIN) so I can at least PLAN around it. This being stranded at the gas station by Suntrust really SUX!! Too bad I can't turn this "security feature" off. Maybe the way to turn it off is to take my funds to another bank?...

Suntrust uses a third party non Suntrust Call Center in Manilla Phillipeans to attend to both personal and business banking accounts. This call center is not govern or regulated by US Laws nor by the FDIC nor the Federal Reserve.

That means if we are providing them with our account numbers and account information of any type, Any sole customer service rep. or hacker can use these account numbers and information and take minies from the account.
